Things I Wish People Knew About Hearing Loss

There is no one-size-fits-all-way to be deaf or hard of hearing. Each person is unique. Increasing awareness and understanding are key. Being accepted is what most people want. Included in the guide are some of the challenges those who have hearing loss experience. It also includes simple things people can do to better support communication and inclusion. This includes excerpts taken from one of my most viral pieces shared around the globe.  It is a useful tool to share with anyone who interacts with someone who has hearing loss.

This piece is also included in my ebook, “Navigating Your Child’s Hearing Loss.”
